Section 18, Manipur Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960 [S1G-2VD]

18. Registration of occupants.—(1) Every occupant shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the occupation of land after such commencement, within ninety days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 1, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees. (2) The Collector shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No occupant shall carry on the occupation of land unless registered under this section.
