2. Amendment of section 6.—In section 6 of the Manipur (Village Authorities in Hill Areas) Act, 1956 (80 of 1956) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "two thousand rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
