Section 35, Public Employment (Requirement as to Residence) Act, 1957 [S1E-KMP]

35. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every principal employer shall maintain such records and registers relating to the engagement of contract labour as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every principal employer shall furnish to the Chief Inspector a return in Form III within fifteen days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Chief Inspector may, by order in writing, require.
