Section 25, Public Employment (Requirement as to Residence) Act, 1957 [S1E-KAF]

25. Registration of principals employer.—(1) Every principal employer shall, within seven days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the engagement of contract labour after such commencement, within seven days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Chief Inspector in Form II, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees. (2) The Chief Inspector shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No principal employer shall carry on the engagement of contract labour unless registered under this section.
