12. Procedure for the conduct of a place of public resort.—(1) Every keeper of a place of public resort shall, before undertaking the conduct of a place of public resort, intimate the District Magistrate in writing, specifying the licence concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The District Magistrate may, within thirty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
