12. Procedure for the driving of a motor vehicle.—(1) Every driver shall, before undertaking the driving of a motor vehicle, intimate the State Transport Authority in writing, specifying the permit concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The State Transport Authority may, within sixty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
