32. Registration of elections agent.—(1) Every election agent shall, within fourteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the management of election expenses after such commencement, within fourteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Election Commission in Form 26, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees. (2) The Election Commission shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No election agent shall carry on the management of election expenses unless registered under this section.
