Section 7, Representation of the People Act, 1950 [S1A-T4Q]

7. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every election agent shall maintain such records and registers relating to the management of election expenses as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every election agent shall furnish to the Election Commission a return in Form 6 within seven days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Election Commission may, by order in writing, require.
