Section 4, Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950 [S1A-C45]

4. Registration of packers.—(1) Every packer shall, within fifteen days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the packing of commodities after such commencement, within fifteen days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Central Authority in Form B, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees. (2) The Central Authority shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No packer shall carry on the packing of commodities unless registered under this section.
