Rule 2, Reserve Bank (Transfer of Public Ownership) Act Rules, 1949 [S19-ZD9]

2. Definitions.—(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Reserve Bank (Transfer of Public Ownership) Act, 1948 (62 of 1948); (b) "Form" means a form appended to these rules; (c) "section" means a section of the Act. (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
