Section 42, Industrial Disputes (Banking and Insurance Companies) Act, 1949 [S19-WC7]

42. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every workman shall maintain such records and registers relating to employment in an industry as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every workman shall furnish to the Chief Inspector a return in Form I within seven days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Chief Inspector may, by order in writing, require.
