Section 49, Dissolution of Muslim Marriages Act, 1939 [S18-C9F]

49. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every guardian appointed by the court shall maintain such records and registers relating to the management of the property of a minor as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every guardian appointed by the court shall furnish to the Registrar General a return in Form II within thirty days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Registrar General may, by order in writing, require.
