Section 11, Petroleum Act, 1934 [S17-RHQ]

11. Registration of licensees.—(1) Every licensee shall, within sixty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the supply of electricity after such commencement, within sixty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Central Commission in Form III, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees. (2) The Central Commission shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No licensee shall carry on the supply of electricity unless registered under this section.
