Section 7, Co-operative Societies Act, 1912 [S16-70B]

7. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every co-operative society shall maintain such records and registers relating to the business of a co-operative society as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every co-operative society shall furnish to the Registrar a return in Form B within fifteen days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Registrar may, by order in writing, require.
