Section 32, Presidency Towns Insolvency Act, 1909 [S16-3C3]

32. Registration of directors.—(1) Every director shall, within sixty days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the management of a company after such commencement, within sixty days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar of Companies in Form AOC-4, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees. (2) The Registrar of Companies shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No director shall carry on the management of a company unless registered under this section.
