18. Registration of marriages bureau.—(1) Every marriage bureau shall, within ninety days from the commencement of this Act or, where such person begins the arranging of marriages after such commencement, within ninety days from the date of such beginning, make an application for registration to the Registrar General in Form I, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees. (2) The Registrar General shall, on being satisfied that the application is in order, register the applicant and issue a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed. (3) No marriage bureau shall carry on the arranging of marriages unless registered under this section.
