Rule 14, Madras Rent and Revenue Sale Act Rules, 1841 [S10-Z0H]

14. Procedure for the holding of land.—(1) Every holder of land shall, before undertaking the holding of land, intimate the Collector in writing, specifying the holding concerned and the period for which it is proposed to be undertaken. (2) The Collector may, within sixty days of the receipt of the intimation, require the person to furnish such further particulars as it considers necessary.
