Section 35, Bengal Indigo Contracts Act, 1836 [S10-Q1P]

35. Maintenance of records and furnishing of returns.—(1) Every consignor shall maintain such records and registers relating to the consignment of goods as may be prescribed and shall preserve them for a period of five years. (2) Every consignor shall furnish to the Registrar a return in Form C within thirty days from the end of every financial year, and such other information as the Registrar may, by order in writing, require.
