2. In its application to Uttar Pradesh, in section 2 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, for clause (1), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:—
(1) "authorised officer" means an officer authorised under sub-section (1) of section 52-A;
and the existing clause (1) shall be renumbered as clause (1-A).
