ORDER

Subject: The grazing of cattle on Government waste land by graziers on Government waste land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall furnish Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every grazier on Government waste land carrying on the grazing of cattle on Government waste land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the grazing of cattle on Government waste land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
