ORDER

Subject: The fire safety of a place of public assembly by owners of a place of public assembly under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a place of public assembly carrying on the fire safety of a place of public assembly shall furnish Form C to the State Executive Committee within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a place of public assembly carrying on the fire safety of a place of public assembly shall make an application in Form C to the State Executive Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the fire safety of a place of public assembly is undertaken, and the State Executive Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
