ORDER

Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Patwari, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall furnish Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 12 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of land as tenant is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
