ORDER

Subject: The holding of Government land on lease by lessees of Government land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall furnish Form 3 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within ninety days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every lessee of Government land carrying on the holding of Government land on lease shall make an application in Form 3 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of Government land on lease is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
