ORDER

Subject: The holding of land in excess of the ceiling by holders of land in excess of the ceiling under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall furnish Form 1 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and eighty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of land in excess of the ceiling carrying on the holding of land in excess of the ceiling shall make an application in Form 1 to the Settlement Officer within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land in excess of the ceiling is undertaken, and the Settlement Officer shall dispose of it within one hundred and eighty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
