New Delhi, dated the 22nd April, 2006

ORDER

Subject: The holding of land by landholders under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Revenue Inspector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall furnish Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within seven days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every landholder carrying on the holding of land shall make an application in Form 5 to the Board of Revenue within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of land is undertaken, and the Board of Revenue shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
