ORDER

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall furnish Form F to the Excise Commissioner within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form F to the Excise Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the retail vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
