ORDER
Subject: The cultivation of hemp under licence by cultivators of hemp under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that
1. In the circumstances reported by the Excise Superintendent, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every cultivator of hemp carrying on the cultivation of hemp under licence shall furnish Form A to the Licensing Authority within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every cultivator of hemp carrying on the cultivation of hemp under licence shall make an application in Form A to the Licensing Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the cultivation of hemp under licence is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
