NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th July, 2024
S.O. 1835(E).
Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary to appoint a Commission of Inquiry for the purpose of making an inquiry into a definite matter of public importance; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 (53 of 2005), the Central Government hereby appoints a Commission of Inquiry consisting of the Deputy Collector as its sole member, to inquire into the matter of the operation of an early warning system by operators of an early warning system and to report within sixty days.
