ORDER
Subject: The manufacture of excisable articles by manufacturers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall furnish Form H to the Licensing Authority within ten days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer carrying on the manufacture of excisable articles shall make an application in Form H to the Licensing Authority within ten days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the manufacture of excisable articles is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within ten days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
