ORDER

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall furnish Form G to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form G to the Excise Appellate Authority within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the wholesale vend of liquor is undertaken, and the Excise Appellate Authority shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
