ORDER

Subject: The maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building by owners of a high-rise building under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Relief Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall furnish Form E to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a high-rise building carrying on the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building shall make an application in Form E to the Relief Commissioner within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the maintenance of fire safety in a high-rise building is undertaken, and the Relief Commissioner shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
