ORDER
Subject: Dealing in excisable articles by dealers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that
1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Commissioner of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall furnish Form E to the Excise Commissioner within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer carrying on dealing in excisable articles shall make an application in Form E to the Excise Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which dealing in excisable articles is undertaken, and the Excise Commissioner shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
