ORDER

Subject: The conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use by person converting agricultural lands under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Naib Tahsildar, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall furnish Form 1 to the Collector within fifteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person converting agricultural land carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use shall make an application in Form 1 to the Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use is undertaken, and the Collector shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
