ORDER

Subject: The transport of hazardous chemicals by transporters of hazardous chemicals under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Incident Commander, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall furnish Form E to the Relief Commissioner within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every transporter of hazardous chemicals carrying on the transport of hazardous chemicals shall make an application in Form E to the Relief Commissioner within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the transport of hazardous chemicals is undertaken, and the Relief Commissioner shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
