ORDER

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Inspector of Excise, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall furnish Form B to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form B to the Licensing Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the keeping of a bonded warehouse is undertaken, and the Licensing Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
