ORDER

Subject: The holding of allotted surplus land by allottees of surplus land under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Village Accountant, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall furnish Form 3 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every allottee of surplus land carrying on the holding of allotted surplus land shall make an application in Form 3 to the Land Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of allotted surplus land is undertaken, and the Land Tribunal shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
