ORDER

Subject: Service as a civil defence volunteer by civil defence volunteers under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Civil Defence Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall furnish Form G to the National Executive Committee within thirty days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every civil defence volunteer carrying on service as a civil defence volunteer shall make an application in Form G to the National Executive Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which service as a civil defence volunteer is undertaken, and the National Executive Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
