ORDER

Subject: The operation of a dam in an emergency by operators of a dam under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Station Fire Officer, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall furnish Form A to the Civil Defence Controller within three days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall make an application in Form A to the Civil Defence Controller within three days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a dam in an emergency is undertaken, and the Civil Defence Controller shall dispose of it within three days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
