ORDER

Subject: The operation of a dam in an emergency by operators of a dam under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is pleased to order that

1. In the circumstances reported by the Deputy Collector, the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, after careful examination, hereby orders that every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall furnish Form H to the State Authority within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a dam carrying on the operation of a dam in an emergency shall make an application in Form H to the State Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the operation of a dam in an emergency is undertaken, and the State Authority shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
