GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The survey of land by licensed surveyors under the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Circle Officer, the Government of Puducherry, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall furnish Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensed surveyor carrying on the survey of land shall make an application in Form 1 to the Sub-Divisional Officer within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the survey of land is undertaken, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall dispose of it within fifteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Puducherry.
