GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The slaughter of animals by keepers of a slaughter house under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Municipal Commissioner, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall furnish Form D to the Standing Committee within thirty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall make an application in Form D to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the slaughter of animals is undertaken, and the Standing Committee shall dispose of it within thirty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
