GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: Fishing in a reservoir by licensees of a fishery in a reservoir under the Karnataka Ground Water (Regulation and Control of Development and Management) Act, 2011, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Ground Water Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall furnish Form E to the Irrigation Authority within twenty-one days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fishery in a reservoir carrying on fishing in a reservoir shall make an application in Form E to the Irrigation Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which fishing in a reservoir is undertaken, and the Irrigation Authority shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Karnataka.
