GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The registration of births and deaths by registrars of births and deaths under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every registrar of births and deaths carrying on the registration of births and deaths shall furnish Form VI to the Government of Uttarakhand within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every registrar of births and deaths carrying on the registration of births and deaths shall make an application in Form VI to the Government of Uttarakhand within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the registration of births and deaths is undertaken, and the Government of Uttarakhand shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
