GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The business of a broker by brokers under the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Assistant Registrar, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every broker carrying on the business of a broker shall furnish Form D to the Director of Industries within fourteen days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every broker carrying on the business of a broker shall make an application in Form D to the Director of Industries within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the business of a broker is undertaken, and the Director of Industries shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Maharashtra.
