GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The employment of adolescents by employers of adolescents under the Karnataka Devadasis (Prohibition of Dedication) Act, 1982, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the District Child Protection Officer, the Government of Karnataka, after careful examination, hereby orders that every employer of adolescents carrying on the employment of adolescents shall furnish Form V to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every employer of adolescents carrying on the employment of adolescents shall make an application in Form V to the Juvenile Justice Board within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the employment of adolescents is undertaken, and the Juvenile Justice Board shall dispose of it within seven days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
