GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The administration of a family settlement by trustees of a family settlement under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Probation Officer, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall furnish Form II to the Family Court within twenty-one days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every trustee of a family settlement carrying on the administration of a family settlement shall make an application in Form II to the Family Court within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the administration of a family settlement is undertaken, and the Family Court shall dispose of it within twenty-one days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
