GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The holding of a fair by licensees of a fair under the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, after careful examination, hereby orders that every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall furnish Form 8 to the Gram Sabha within sixty days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee of a fair carrying on the holding of a fair shall make an application in Form 8 to the Gram Sabha within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the holding of a fair is undertaken, and the Gram Sabha shall dispose of it within sixty days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
