GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The management of the property of a minor by guardians appointed by the court under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Sub-Registrar, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every guardian appointed by the court carrying on the management of the property of a minor shall furnish Form VI to the Registrar of Marriages within ninety days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every guardian appointed by the court carrying on the management of the property of a minor shall make an application in Form VI to the Registrar of Marriages within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of the property of a minor is undertaken, and the Registrar of Marriages shall dispose of it within ninety days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
