GOVERNMENT ORDER

Subject: The management of the property of a minor by guardians appointed by the court under the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024, regarding.

1. In the circumstances reported by the Registrar of Marriages, the Government of Uttarakhand, after careful examination, hereby orders that every guardian appointed by the court carrying on the management of the property of a minor shall furnish Form IV to the Registrar General within forty-five days.

2. The matter has been examined. Every guardian appointed by the court carrying on the management of the property of a minor shall make an application in Form IV to the Registrar General within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the management of the property of a minor is undertaken, and the Registrar General shall dispose of it within forty-five days of its receipt.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Uttarakhand.
