GOVERNMENT ORDER
Subject: The slaughter of animals by keepers of a slaughter house under the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949, regarding.
1. In the circumstances reported by the Building Inspector, the Government of Maharashtra, after careful examination, hereby orders that every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall furnish Form G to the Municipal Council within fourteen days.
2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a slaughter house carrying on the slaughter of animals shall make an application in Form G to the Municipal Council within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the slaughter of animals is undertaken, and the Municipal Council shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this government order may be brought to the notice of the Energy Department, Government of Maharashtra.
